SKYLER FOOS
Agronomic Consultant

Skyler Foos joined Integrated Ag Services as an agronomic consultant in 2018. He attended The Ohio State University and received his Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Plant Systems-Agronomy and his Associate of Science in Agronomy. He holds both a Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) and a Remote Pilot Certificate through the Federal Aviation Administration.

His favorite farming technology tools are radar apps and drones. He has three apps he looks at multiple times a day. “Drones can really tell you a lot in a big picture: existing tile lines, wind damage, insect and disease pressures.”

His favorite season: “Fall, not too hot, not too cool.”

His favorite in-field meal: Hotdogs/brats and mac ‘n cheese. But, he’s not picky and will happily take, “Whatever someone brings me.”

The best advice he’s ever received came from his high school ag teacher: “It’s not what you know, it’s who you know and how you treat them.”

Outside of work, Skyler works on a family farm in Northern Union County, growing corn, soybeans and some wheat as well as raising market hogs. He loves spending time on the water, when he can, and is a member of the Union County Farm Bureau.
